A preditor sting led authorites to the doorstep of a Geronimo man early this week. If found guilty he could face decades behind bars.

Ricky Spriggs faces felony counts of lewd or indecent proposals to a child under 16, and soliciting sexual conduct with a minor using technology.

It is alleged that Spriggs sent the person explict photographs, depsite being fully aware of the persons age. The Oklahoma Predator Prevention organization conducted a sting posed as a 15-yearold boy in an online chatroom, according to court documents filed on Tuesday, May 28.

Spriggs allegedly admitted to the crime when Comanche County Sheriff’s Deputies visited his home.

Before deputies arrived Spriggs admitted to deleting everything off of his cellphone.

He was arrested and booked on a $40,000 bond, and he could face up to 30 years in prison if he is found guilty.
