Dora “Babbs” Fielding, 63 Temple, OK

Dora Babbs (Andrews) Fielding was born to Fountain Earl Wesley and Joan Wilma Violet (Colvin) Andrews on October 3, 1959 in Palestine, TX and departed this life in Temple, OK on September 4, 2023 at the age of 63 years, 11 months and 1 day.

Dora family moved several times in her early years before settling in Tuttle, OK, graduating from Tuttle High School in 1978. She worked as a waitress at Tuttle Café where she met Jimmy Lee Fielding. The couple eventually married on July 19, 1996 and soon moved to Washington, OK. In 2000, they moved to Temple, OK where she did home health care for a time before working the past 19 years for Red River Transport.

Babbs enjoyed helping others and garage saling. She loved reading, especially romance novels, watching movies, comedies, rockin’ roll and attending concerts. She loved her family and friends, was a great cook and enjoyed making bread for her brother. Her cinnamon rolls were great!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Andrews and Joan Andrews Swann.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Dawn Andrews of Harrah, OK; her brother, Wesley Andrews and Sharon of Aberdine, WA; her good friend Daniel Witmer of Newalla, OK; other relatives and friends.
