ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC
St Patrick Catholic Church has a new Pastor as of June 28, 2021. He serves as pastor of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Lawton and recently was assigned as pastor of the mission church in Walters.
Father John Paul grew up in Oklahoma City, graduating from Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School in 2007. He attended Conception Seminary in Missouri and Saint John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver. He was ordained to the priesthood in June 2016. He served as associate pastor at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Oklahoma City and Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Guymon before becoming pastor in Lawton.
Sunday July 11 following the 9:45 a.m. Mass the parish congregation held a pot luck brunch to welcome Father John Paul.
Sunday Mass times will change to Sunday at 9:45 a.m. The church is located at 3rd and Ohio in Walters.
