Keeping Walters Safe

We want to thank Walters Police Department, our Chief Leslie Williams and Officer Riley Wagner for their efforts in keeping Walters community safe and for getting dangerous substances off the streets. On June 19, while attempting to locate a fugitive, Officer Riley Wagner of the Walters PD noticed some illegal activity then executed a search warrant on a residence. WPD seized 18.5 pounds of marijuana, multiple prescription drugs, electronics, digital scales, and meth pipes. Three suspects were arrested and face numerous charges.
