WICHITA FALLS, Texas (June 28, 2024) - Local students graduated from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, in Spring 2024. Midwestern State University had 678 undergraduate and graduate students in Spring 2024 with the provision that they meet all requirements as prescribed by the faculty and administration. Honor graduates receiving bachelor degrees included 64 summa cum laude, 74 magna cum laude, and 90 cum laude. Honor requirements are a grade point average of 3.9-4.0 for summa cum laude, 3.7-3.89 for magna cum laude, and 3.5-3.69 for cum laude. Additionally, four graduates earned Redwine Presidential Scholar designation, five were named Redwine Scholars, and seven earned Redwine Honors Scholar recognition. Sixteen students received President's Medals.

Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) is proud to announce the list of graduates for the Spring 2024 semester. The ceremonies were held in the Pioneer Event Center in May.

A total of 687 students have successfully completed their academic programs, including 173 graduate degrees, 442 baccalaureate degrees, and 72 associate degrees. Eligible participants for the ceremony included students who completed their degrees at the end of the Spring 2024 semester.
