Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on crawfish, live bait, live shad, shad, shrimp, and stinkbait around channels, flats, inlet, main lake, points, riprap, river mouth, rocks, and tailwater. White bass on crankbaits, flukes, in-line spinnerbaits, jerk baits, lipless baits, small lures, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures around channels, creek channels, dam, discharge, flats, main lake, points, riprap, river channel, rocks, sandbar, spillway, and tailwater. Comments: The area will receive some headwaters out of Ks- Neosho River and Mo-Spring and Elk Rivers from all the overnight heavy rains (06/08 - 06/09). This may disrupt the fishing action by causing the lake levels to rise, water clarity, and possibly affecting the temperatures of the lake until everything returns to normal. Skiatook: June 9. Elevation is 4.5 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 76°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass hybrids and white bass good on live shad and shad around main lake. Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, shad, and stinkbait around flats. Comments: Hybrids and white bass are being caught 30-40 ft. deep. White bass good on Alabama rigs and small lures around coves and creek channels. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, and shad around flats, main lake, and river channel. Comments: Black bass and white bass activity is best in the early morning or late evening. White bass can be found in schools, feeding early in the morning.
