Butch Bellamy Retires After 37years

Butch Bellamy went to work for the City of Walters part time for the Street Department in 1985. Soon after that he started taking care of the Cemetery full time where he has worked diligently, until August 31, 2022, when he decided it was time to turn in his resignation. Taking care of the Cemetery was more than a job to Butch. He genuinely loved his work and the people that he helped in more ways than one. Butch has been a huge asset to the City of Walters and The Walters Cemetery Association and will be missed greatly by all.
