Cole Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) released the following statement after voting in favor of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reauthorization bill, which overwhelmingly passed the United States House of Representatives today: “The FAA plays a crucial role in the safety, transparency, and efficiency of our nation’s air travel. However, it is also important to note the significant impact the FAA has on Oklahoma’s economy and workforce. In fact, this year’s FAA reauthorization included critical support for the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, which employs more than 6,000 Oklahomans,” said Congressman Cole. “I am proud to have voted in favor of the FAA reauthorization bill today, as it is not only essential to keeping our skies safe and efficient, but also a big win for Oklahoma.”
