Vernon Delbert Broberg, Jr.
Deceased
Case No. PB-2025-12
COMES NOW Michael Broberg Personal Representative of the Estate of Vernon Delbert Broberg, Jr., a/k/a Bush Broberg, Deceased, hereby submits his final account and report of his acts as Personal Representative by virtue of letters testamentary issued to him on the 24th day of September, 2025, and his petition for order allowing final account, distribution and discharge as follows, to-wit:
- That notice to creditors of said estate to present claims was duly published according to law, as appears more fully from the affidavit of the publisher of the Walters Herald on file herein. That affidavit of Non-claim; Notice to Creditors of the Personal Representative is also on file herein.
- That said Representative was not required to file an Oklahoma Estate Tax for reason that effective January 1, 2010, the estate tax in Oklahoma was repealed. The Decedent herein died on August 17th, 2025.
- That said Personal Representative was not required to file a federal estate tax return with the Internal Revenue Service for the reason that said estate was not sufficient size to require the same.
- That all state, county school and municipal taxes levied against the property of said estate have been paid.
- That the sole and only heir of the decedent according to the law of intestate succession is as follows, to-wit: Vernon Delbert Broberg, Jr.
- That all of the decedent’s property should be distributed to Michael Broberg.
- That the property of said estate left in the hands of the Personal Representative for distribution is described as follows, to-wit:
The East 15 feet of the south 24 feet of Lot 28, and the South 24 feet of Lots 29, 30, 31, and 32, all in Block 76, Addition to Walters, Cotton County, Oklahoma.
WHEREFORE, said Personal Representative prays that his final account as above set forth be allowed and confirmed; that this Court decree and determination the persons entitled to the property of said estate and the amount and share to which is entitled; that said Personal Representative be authorized and ordered to distribute the property and assets of said estate to the persons entitled thereto, as may be ordered by this Court; and thereupon, said Personal Representative to be discharged from further duties in the administration of said estate and for such other relief the Court may deem just and proper.
