The Walters Police Department is excited to announce that the Walters City Council has officially approved moving forward with the purchase of our future police department building — the former Arvest Bank building located on the highway 5.
This approval represents a major step forward for our department and our community. Our current location has served us well, but this new facility will allow us to operate more efficiently, improve accessibility for the public, and better serve the growing needs of Walters.
The Arvest Bank building offers increased space, enhanced security features, and a highly visible, professional location that makes it easier for citizens to find us when they need assistance.
This investment reflects a commitment to long-term public safety, professionalism, and continued service to our community.
We want to thank the Mayor, City Council, City staff, and everyone who helped make this possible. Most of all, we give thanks to the Lord for His guidance and continued blessings.
