Katie Deurmyer represented the town of Walters on Sunday, December 7th in Altus, OK. Katie Competed against other 9th–12th grade young ladies from Southwest Oklahoma and North Texas. Katie won the honor of being crowned 2025 Miss Southwest Christmas. The competition included modeling, introduction, presentation, and answering a Christmas themed question on-stage.
Katie is the 17 year old daughter of Chris and Alice Deurmyer and is a Junior at Walters High School. She has also been honored to represent the title of 2025 Miss Walters since April 2025.
