A funeral service will be held at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, OK, Monday, November 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Jack Jacobson officiating. Burial will follow in the Walters Cemetery.
Ronald “Ronnie” Trotter was born October 30, 1941, in Temple, Oklahoma, to Raymond and Lela Trotter. He departed this life in Lawton, Oklahoma, on November 2, 2025, at the age of 84 years and 3 days.
Ronnie grew up in the Temple area and graduated from Temple High School. He married Lynda Cookston on August 7, 1964, in Cookston Chapel, and to this union three children were born. He worked for Temple Public Schools and Cotton Electric for many years.
Ronnie was a man of faith who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lynda; and his sister, Ava Jane Trotter.
Survivors include his two daughters, Nancy Lewis and husband, Jerry, and Lisa Harris and husband, Roy; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
