In Cotton County, authorities are seeking Brandy Bauer of Walters, Cotton County, charging her with abusing a man in her care.
Brandy Bauer is charged with one count of abuse by caretaker.
Brandy was hired by the VA to act as the victim’s caregiver but failed to provide any care, Investigators say.
She’s accused of failing to take him to doctor’s appointments and neglecting the victim’s health and hygiene.
In addition, she reportedly verbally abuse the man and isolated him from protective services and his family. She also withdrew thousands of dollars from his accounts.
A warrant has been filed for her arrest.
