FY 2026-2027 BUDGET APPROVED
The City Council of the City of Walters approved the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget with total resources and appropriations of $2,609,572.
Department appropriations are:
- Administration — $446,600
- Police — $702,380
- Fire — $453,020
- Street — $589,608
- Parks — $343,856
- Golf — $3,600
- Library — $66,508
- Airport — $4,000
Total: $2,609,572
The resolution also authorizes the City Manager to transfer unexpended and unencumbered appropriations within departments and funds during FY 2026-2027 without further City Council approval.
