NOTICE SETTING HEARING ON THE APPLICATION TO ADJUDICATE THE MINOR CHILD ELIGIBLE FOR ADOPTION WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE BIOLOGICAL MOTHER
THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA TO: Cathryn Victoria Baber, Biological Mother of P.D.B., a minor child
On the 18th day of May, 2026, an Application was filed in this Court for an Order adjudicating the minor child, P.D.B., date of birth October 25, 2016, eligible for Adoption without consent of Cathryn Victoria Baber, Biological Mother of P.D.B., a minor child. The Application is set for hearing on the 25th day of June, 2026, at 10:00 o’clock a.m., in the Courtroom of Associate District Judge Michael C. Flanagan in the Cotton County Courthouse, Walters, Cotton County, State of Oklahoma.
Petitioners have alleged in their Application that your consent to the adoption is not required and that said child is eligible for adoption in that you, Cathryn Victoria Baber, Biological Mother of P.D.B., a minor child:
A. Pursuant to 10 O.S. § 7505-4.2 (B), for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months out of the last fourteen (14) months immediately preceding the filing of a petition for adoption of a child you have willfully failed, refused, or neglected to contribute to the support of such minor.
B. Pursuant to 10 O.S. §7505-4.2(I) in that you have wilfully failed to maintain a significant relationship with the minor for a period of twelve (12) out of the last fourteen (14) months immediately preceding the filing of this petition.
YOU ARE, THEREFORE, NOTIFIED THAT THE COURT WILL HEAR EVIDENCE IN SUPPORT OF AND IN OPPOSITION TO THE GRANTING OF THE APPLICATION AT THE TIME AND PLACE SHOWN ABOVE WHERE YOU WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE PRESENT AND HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD.
