Overholser: May 18. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 75°F and stained. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, and minnows around dam and docks. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait and minnows around riprap, shallows, and shorelines. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on flukes and jigs around points and shorelines.

Texoma: May 17. Elevation is 3 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 73°F and clear. Striped bass fair on live shad around channels, points, and river channel. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, and jigs around brush structure, coves, docks, and standing timber.

Comments: Fishing this week has been okay. Striper has been okay this week. Some days are better than others. The big winds the last few days have made it tougher. Catfish are being caught on ledges and river channels on live bait and cut bait. Crappie are being caught on jigs around brush and in open water in 8-12 ft. of water.

SOUTHWEST

Altus-Lugert: May 17. Elevation is 22 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 68°F and murky. Walleye slow on jigs and minnows around brush structure, docks, and rocks. Channel catfish fair on jigs, minnows, and worms around brush structure, coves, docks, and rocks.

Comments: Fishing activity slowed possibly due to high winds.

Ellsworth: May 17. Elevation is 7 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 70°F and murky. White bass, crappie, and saugeye fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, sassy shad, and small lures around brush structure, docks, points, and shorelines. Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, dough bait, punch bait, and shad around main lake and points.

Fort Cobb: May 18. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 68°F and stained. Crappie slow on hair jigs and jigs around docks. Striped bass hybrids fair on jigs around points.

Lawtonka: May 17. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 71°F and clear. White bass and saugeye fair on hair jigs, minnows, sassy shad, and small lures around points, rocks, and shorelines.
