In December 2025, the Cotton County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a burglary and theft reported at a property located at on SE Logue Chapel Road, in Cotton County.
During the investigation, investigators obtained game camera photographs, surveillance evidence, and witness statements which identified Micah Keith Woods and Shane Austin Accardo as suspects involved in the incident.
Further investigation revealed that several items had been taken from the property, including a firearm and a game camera. Through continued investigation, deputies were able to locate and recover the stolen game camera along with burglary tools that had been concealed on the property. The stolen firearm was later recovered.
Investigators also obtained body camera and dash camera footage from the Burkburnett Police Department confirming that Woods and Accardo had been together during a traffic stop in Texas shortly after the burglary occurred.
As previously released, Micah Keith Woods was arrested in connection with this investigation.
Shane Austin Accardo was arrested and charged with:
• CF Conspiracy to Commit Burglary / Grand Larceny / Entering Property With Intent to Steal Copper
(C2) Accardo was booked into the Cotton County Jail.
