Walters Middle School students performed in the Lawton area Circle the State with Song Festival on Thursday, February 5, 2026. The students practiced throughout the day on various choral selections and presented a concert that evening.

The special guest conductor was Dr. Karsten Longhurst, OCU Chair of Vocal Music Education and Artistic Director of Canterbury Youth Voices and current OCDA President. Several proud Walters parents attended the event. A special thank you to Cindy Anderson for providing extra transportation and taking the group picture.
