Mayor Jonathan Morgan, City Manager Matt LaFee, and Chief of Police Tyler Smith traveled to the Oklahoma State Capitol to meet with Representative Tyler Caldwell to discuss the future of the City of Walters and Cotton County.
They had a productive conversation centered around Walters’ funding needs, long-term priorities, and the five-year plan to continue improving infrastructure, public safety, and overall quality of life for residents. Representative Caldwell showed a genuine interest in Cotton County and the City of Walters and invited them to the Capitol to hear directly from them about their needs and how he can help.
The city is incredibly grateful to have a representative who truly cares about the community and is committed to making a positive, lasting impact.
Thank you, Representative Caldwell, for your time, leadership, and continued interest in the City of Walters and Cotton County.
