We are proud to recognize Chief Tyler Smith, who was honored at this year’s Annual Oklahoma Attorney General’s Law Enforcement Banquet as an official 2025 Officer of the Year Nominee. He received a special commendation acknowledging his service, leadership, and dedication.
While he did not receive the statewide award, we want to make it clear that to us, Chief Smith is Walters’ Officer of the Year.
Chief Smith, thank you for your outstanding leadership, your commitment to public safety, and your unwavering service to the people of Walters. Your daily efforts make a tremendous impact on our community, and we are grateful for all that you do.
We are honored to have you leading our police department.
