Beverlyn Meyer, 79, Temple, OK

Beverlyn’s family remembered her life in a private gathering held at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, Thursday, November 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., followed by interment in the Temple Cemetery.

Beverlyn Marie (Conatser) Meyer was born to James Lee and Dora (Rinehart) Conatser on July 9, 1946, in Ardmore, OK, and departed this life in Lawton, OK, on November 10, 2025, at the age of 79 years, 4 months, and 1 day.

Beverlyn grew up in the Ardmore area before moving to Temple, where she graduated from Temple High School in 1964. She worked at the Temple Upholstery Shop, later managing it and becoming well-known throughout the region for her upholstery work.

Beverlyn was a member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Walters. She loved gardening, tending to her flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was always willing to help others.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Meyer; her sister, Dorothy Bullen; and her brother, Billy Conatser.

Survivors include her son, Charles Meyer and wife, Janice, of Temple, OK; her daughter, Lisa Meyer of Grandfield, OK; three grandchildren, Skylar Ragland, Abby Ragland, and Austin Meyer; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Kynlee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
