Dean Raggs, 82, Randlett, OK

Dean Raggs was born December 16, 1942, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Marvin and Della Raggs. He passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 82 years, 10 months, and 13 days.

Dean grew up in the Walters area. He married Marilyn Dee Lyons on July 10, 1961, in Cooperton, Oklahoma, and to this union 3 children were born. They made their home west of Randlett for many years before moving to town. He was a farmer, rancher, and co-op employee for 20 years and also worked for the City of Randlett.

Dean had been a member of the Devol First Baptist Church and currently attended Randlett Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing cards and dominoes, working on the farm, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Della Raggs; and his daughter, Shari Raggs.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn, of the home; two sons, Rick Raggs and wife, Cheryl, of Randlett, and David Raggs and wife, Twila, of Burkburnett, TX; four grandchildren, Whitney, Randa, Shane, and Caiti; and 11 great-grandchildren.
