The City of Walters would like to extend a big thank you to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) for the hard work they are doing in Walters and across Cotton County. Their crews have been busy resurfacing our vital highways, including Highway 5 and Seventh Street, which provide essential access in and out of our community.
Currently, work is underway on Highway 5 heading toward the turnpike. We kindly ask everyone to please use patience and caution when driving near construction areas to help keep both drivers and crews safe.
Once again, thank you to ODOT and all the dedicated employees and road crews working to improve our roads for the future of Walters!
