Cotton County Artists Chosen To Show Art In Seven State Biennial Art Show

Cotton County Art Council member Pattie Calfy had her photograph titled Wheat, Water, and Wildflowers accepted to be in the 2025 Seven State Biennial Art Show sponsored by the Nesbitt Gallery at USAO in Chickasha.

Applicants from Oklahoma and its 6 bordering states wero allowed 3 submissions. From thoss entries of various foams of art, 44 pioces of art were selected by this year’s judge. Von Venhuisen. The exhibit will be on view at the Nesbitt Gallery in Chickasha until October 3rd. On November 3 e exhibit will open at the Charies B. Goddard Center in rúmore, OK. On January 13, 2026 the exhibit will open at The Museum of the Red River in Idabel, Ok. Also accepted into the sbow and winning first place was a work by Emma Maddox who is the daughter of Walters, OK graduate Greg Maddox.
