Rotary Club Places Flags In Celebration Of The 4th Of July

Early Friday morning, before most were even awake, a few fellow Rotarians and volunteers joined in placing American flags around town — from the Cotton County Courthouse lawn to local businesses throughout our Walters community.

This is a long-standing tradition of the Rotary Club, rooted in service and patriotism. Each flag represents more than just colors on cloth — it stands for freedom, sacrifice, and unity. We do this to honor those who have served, to remind us of the freedoms we enjoy, and to bring a sense of pride to our town.

What a blessing it is to live in a place where we can celebrate liberty so freely, especially on a day like today, the 4th of July! Let these flags be a symbol of hope, gratitude, and the enduring spirit of our nation.

The Rotary Club hopes you all had a Happy Independence Day! God bless America!
