Exciting news from the Walters Police Department and Walters Public Schools!
We’re proud to announce that Officer Kyle Winfree has joined us as the new School Resource Officer (SRO) for Walters Public Schools.
Officer Winfree is no stranger to our community — he’s a proud alumnus of Walters Public Schools and is now returning to serve and protect the very halls he once walked as a student. With eight years of experience as an SRO in Lawton Public Schools, he brings a deep understanding of school safety and student engagement.
He’s DARE certified, Crisis Intervention Team certified, and brings a strong, positive outlook to his work with school-aged children. A dedicated father and family man, Officer Winfree is passionate about building relationships, mentoring students, and being a trusted resource on campus.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Walters Public Schools for welcoming us as part of their team and working alongside us to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
