Kate Marie Williams, daughter of Scott and Julie Williams and granddaughter of the late Allen and Frances Zisman, has earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Wichita State University. Kate previously graduated cum laude from Wichita State in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. Known for her dedication and compassion, she has long expressed a passion for helping others—particularly children—through physical rehabilitation and care. She now plans to pursue a career as a pediatric physical therapist, where she looks forward to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients and their families. Family and friends are proud of her accomplishments and look forward to seeing what the future holds for this talented young professional.
Note: Allen Zisman and Frances Zisman taught for several years in Walters. Mr. Zisman served as Superintendent of Schools from 1977 to 1981. Kate’s grandmother Frances, her mom Julie, her uncle Stan, and her aunt Jan are all graduates of Walters High School.
