My name is Mary Ann (Geer) Hollander. I am the Assistant Librarian at the Walters Public Library.
I lost my husband Richard on July 16, 2019. Almost 6 years ago. I have been having a really difficult time emotionally, accepting that he isn’t here, except in memory and in my heart.
So, I started a journal to write down my precious memories of our lives together. This was to help me deal with losing him. Since we both love God and the outdoors, the title of this book includes Richard and our love for nature and we can always be together spiritually.
As I was writing, I observed the animals and the beautiful scenery. God has provided a way for me to find the peace I was looking for. The animals and scenery are my peace. I hope this book will help others who are having problems find peace in the beauty that God provides for us.
