This week, the Walters Chamber of Commerce is proud to highlight Cotton Electric Cooperative, a long-standing pillar of our community. Established in 1938, Cotton Electric was founded with the mission to provide electric services to rural areas when other utilities found it economically unfeasible. Over the past 80+ years, the cooperative has steadily expanded its reach, adapting to the evolving needs of its members while maintaining a commitment to reliability and service excellence.
Today, Cotton Electric serves over 23,000 meters across eight counties in southwest Oklahoma. Their mission is clear: to safely deliver reliable and affordable power, provide excellent member service, and improve the quality of life in the communities they serve.
With their headquarters located right here in Walters at 226 N. Broadway, Walters, OK 73572, Cotton Electric continues to be a dedicated and supportive Chamber partner. We greatly appreciate their ongoing contributions and commitment to our community.
