The City of Walters would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to our Electrical Department, Supervisor Roger Noland, and his dedicated crew—Noel Frantz and Justin Calkins—for their exceptional work in completing the Electrical Enhancement Project at Sultan Park.
We are also deeply grateful to the Comanche Nation & Chairman Forrest Tahdooahnippah for their generous financial contribution to this project. Their support has been instrumental in ensuring the success of this much-needed upgrade.
Thanks to their collaboration, we’ve improved the park’s electrical system to handle larger loads and provide more efficient electrical connections, particularly for RV and travel trailer camping. New 30- and 50-amp connections have been installed throughout the park, making it more accessible and convenient for visitors.
The City of Walters remains committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors, and this project is just one example of our ongoing efforts to improve our community.
