Program for Teen Violence Awareness Month Held for WHS

In February, Cotton County Sheriff’s Office and Cotton County Emergency Management worked together with Marie Detty and New Directions to schedule and organize a program for schools in Cotton County for Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.

This is an extremely important program, and Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month is an excellent time for teens to learn about healthy and unhealthy dating relationships. The first program was held at Walters High School on February 26th.

Thank you to Ashley Chapman, the Sexual Assault Program Coordinator, for this valuable program. Thank you to Deputy Sarah Hedges for being there for our children and furthering our commitment to our community.
