Jerry Dee Tolliver was born to Jerry Lee and Patricia Ann (Williams) Tolliver on March 21, 1964, in Nuremberg, Germany, and departed this life in Walters, OK, on February 25, 2025, at the age of 60 years, 11 months, and 4 days.
Jerry grew up in Walters from the age of 2, graduating from WHS in 1983. He married Pamela Marie Steele on March 22, 1985, in Wichita Falls, TX, and to the union, two sons were born. Jerry joined the United States Army, serving his country honorably. The family made Walters their home, and in 1988, Jerry went to work full-time with the Walters Volunteer Fire Department. After eight years with WVFD, he went to work at the Fort Sill Fire Department, retiring as a Captain on September 1, 2015.
In high school, Jerry participated in the Vocational Carpentry Program. Through the years, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing softball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Patricia Tolliver; his brother, Brian Keith Tolliver; and his sister, Taffy Coston.
Survivors include his wife, Pam, of the home; two sons, Shane Lee Tolliver and Philecia, and Colton Gaige Tolliver, all of Walters; his sister, Gidget Tolliver of Walters; a grandson, Gatlin Gauge Tolliver of Walters; five nephews, Chad Tolliver, Derek Tolliver, Jonathan Tolliver, Cory Coston, and Mackenzie Coston; two nieces, Candice Coston and Alyssa Tolliver; and other relatives and friends.
