On Friday, January 31, 2025, the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was completed to signify that Kidtopia is up and ready to be enjoyed by many! City Council members Wes Eidson (Chamber President) and Sherri Flanagan, City Mayor Jonathan Morgan, City Manager Matt LaFee (Chamber Vice President), and Alan Day, Director of Parks & Recreation, were all present to participate in the celebration along with many children enjoying the new Kidtopia equipment.
Coming this summer, the new Splash Pad will be added to the park for more summer fun! A big THANK YOU to all the city workers, council members, mayor, city manager, Rotary Club, and others who have donated their time and money to help make this dream project happen! We do appreciate you! It’s exciting to see all the progress we are making in the City of Walters!
