Former Temple Student Honored To Guard

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to former Temple Public School student Connor Wakeley, who is currently serving our country in the U.S. Army at Fort Myer, VA. It is with great pride that we share a few of PFC Wakeley’s recent accomplishments, including the honor of standing guard at the funeral of the late President Jimmy Carter and at the 2025 Presidential Inauguration of President Donald Trump. Cotten County and Temple Public Schools are incredibly proud of Connor, and we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for his service and the sacrifices he is making for our country.
