A group of the Walters Senior Citizens Center recently had an unforgettable evening as they boarded the Polar Express in Burkburnett to enjoy the dazzling holiday lights. The train ride was filled with excitement and joy as they marveled at the sparkling decorations. In addition to the beautiful lights, the “hobo” who boarded the train gave us a lot of history about the town as we enjoyed the tour. The Seniors had a great time laughing and sharing stories. After the ride, the group headed to the Feed Lot in Burkburnett, where they savored a delicious dinner, making for a perfect end to a wonderful evening. We want to thank the Burkburnett Historical Society and the Feed Lot for making this a night full of cherished memories. We hope to do it again next year!
