Patty Calfy Awarded “Best In Show”

On November 1, 2024, Cotton County Art Council member and Walters resident Pattie Calfy was awarded the “Best in Show” award at the annual Chisholm Trail Arts Council’s Holiday Art Show and Sale. Her photograph, titled “Complementary Colors,” featured an arrangement of cobalt blue bottles surrounded by oranges. The judge for the art show was award-winning artist LaQuincy Reed of Oklahoma City. CTAC Executive Director Darcy Reed noted that this marked the first time a photograph had won the award. The exhibit, located in the CTAC Gallery at 810 W. Walnut in Duncan, will run through December 19th.
