Attorney General’s Officer Of The Year – Captain Coffell


As you may recall, in October, Cotton County Deputy Captain John Coffell was recognized as Deputy of the Year by the Oklahoma Sheriffs Association for the State of Oklahoma. The Cotton County Sheriff’s Office is once again honored to receive recognition for its commitment to serving our community. This year, the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office established the Attorney General’s Officer of the Year award for 2024 and accepted nominations from across the state. Captain John Coffell of the Cotton County Sheriff’s Office received a nomination and was awarded a commendation. We extend our sincerest congratulations to Captain Coffell, whose exceptional service is a source of pride for Cotton County.
