Opperation “Green Sweep” took place on October 18, 2024 in Cotton County. This operation honored the late Nikky Green, a OHP Trooper who was murdered in the line of duty in December of 2003. The sweep consisted of Sobriety and Safety checkpoints that ran from 3pm to 3am. The operation was deemed successful according to the Cotton County Sheriff’s Office.
