CENTRAL

  • Largemouth Bass: Good on minnows, sassy shad, small lures, and worms around dam, shorelines, and weed beds.
  • Channel Catfish: Good on cut bait, shrimp, and worms around dam and shorelines.
  • Bluegill and Redear Sunfish: Good on hair jigs and worms around shorelines and weed beds.

NORTHEAST

  • Fort Gibson (September 2):
    Elevation: 1 ft. below normal, stable
    Water Temp: 85°F, clear
  • Largemouth Bass: Fair on crankbaits, jigs, spoons, topwater lures, and worms around coves, docks, and shorelines.
  • Striped Bass Hybrids and White Bass: Good on crankbaits, hair jigs, inline spinnerbaits, plastic baits, spoons, and topwater lures below the dam, channels, coves, main lake, and points.
  • Blue and Channel Catfish: Good on chicken liver, shad, sunfish, and worms below the dam, coves, main lake, and points.

  • Grand (September 1):
    Elevation: Normal, stable
    Water Temp: 83°F, stained
  • Largemouth Bass: Fair on crankbaits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures around coves, points, shorelines, and weed beds.
  • Blue and Channel Catfish: Fair on chicken liver, cut bait, shad, and stinkbait around channels, flats, points, and river channel.

  • Greenleaf (September 2):
    Elevation: Normal, stable
    Water Temp: 85°F, clear
  • Largemouth Bass: Good on crankbaits, jigs, lipless baits, minnows, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, topwater lures, and worms around brush structure, docks, main lake, points, and weed beds.
  • Channel Catfish: Good on chicken liver, shad, and worms around coves, docks, flats, and main lake.
  • Crappie: Fair on minnows, slabs, and small lures around brush structure, docks, and main lake.

  • Kaw (September 2):
    Elevation: 3 ft. below normal, falling
    Water Temp: 80°F, stained
  • Largemouth and Spotted Bass: Good on buzz baits, crankbaits, jigs, plastic baits, shad, and spinnerbaits around coves, points, riprap, rocks, and standing timber.
  • Striped Bass Hybrids and White Bass: Excellent on crankbaits, grubs, jigs, live bait, live shad, shad, spoons, and topwater lures below the dam, main lake, points, and riprap.
  • Crappie: Good on jigs, live bait, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, main lake, and tailwater.
  • Comments: Schooling white bass can be found on submerged islands and shallow points near deep drop-offs. Lake is very low and extremely hazardous to maneuver.

    Elevation: Normal, rising
    Water Temp: 82°F, stained
  • Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass: Fair on bill baits, buzz baits, jerk baits, jigs, lipless baits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, and tube jigs around brush structure, channels, coves, creek channels, docks, points, and riprap.
  • Blue, Channel, and Flathead Catfish: Fair on cut bait, live bait, and live shad around creek channels, main lake, points, and riprap.
  • Crappie: Fair on minnows around docks.

  • Lower Illinois River (August 30):
    Elevation: 1 ft. above normal, stable
    Water Temp: 65°F, clear
  • Rainbow Trout: Fair on caddis flies, inline spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, and worms below the dam, discharge, shallows, and shorelines.
  • Comments: Current river flow 500 CFS.

  • Tenkiller (September 2):
    Elevation: 0.5 ft. above normal, stable
    Water Temp: 84°F, murky
  • Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Spotted Bass: Fair on crankbaits, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, channels, docks, and shorelines.
  • Blue, Channel, and Flathead Catfish: Good on chicken liver, cut bait, and shad around creek channels and main lake.
  • Crappie: Fair on hair jigs, minnows, and worms around brush structure, docks, and main lake.

  • Crappie: Fair on jigs, minnows, and small lures around brush structure and main lake.
  • Blue and Channel Catfish: Good on chicken liver, cut bait, live bait, shad, and stinkbait below the dam, coves, main lake, points, and river channel.
