Several locals came together to volunteer this week at Walters Public Schools to helpunload packages donated by Life’s Hope. Life’s Hope is a non-profit organization locatedin Duncan, Oklahoma. Their mission is to bless local communities and communities aroundthe world with gifts and necessary supplies.Two semi-trailers full of Amazon order returns were unloaded Monday morning andplaced in the Walters gym for students and teachers. Each child was able to choose twogifts: one to keep and one to give away, teaching them the spirit of giving.
